Sentrint

Sentrint is a repository security scanner targeted at developers and teams that want to find and fix real-world leaks and vulnerabilities in application code. It scans a repo for hardcoded secrets (API keys, tokens, passwords), access rules (database and admin page exposures), vulnerable dependencies, and dangerous code paths where external input can become commands. An AI layer reviews scanner findings to drop false positives and generates fix prompts rewritten for the LLM platform that built the app (supports 14 LLM platforms including Claude and Gemini). Results include a numeric grade out of 100, a human-readable explanation of each finding, an ordered fix prompt ready to paste back into the originating platform, and a live badge that reflects the current grade.

Sentrint emphasizes privacy and limited access: scans are read-only on the selected repo, run in a sealed ephemeral job that is wiped after completion, and secrets are never printed in full. Users sign in with GitHub and can export or erase records from Settings.

An automated security check for apps built with Bolt, Cursor or v0. Plain-English findings and a copy-paste fix. No jargon, no terminal.

Key Features

Code scanning engine

Reads every line of the repo to find hardcoded secrets, database access rules, dependencies with known vulnerabilities, and dangerous code paths.

AI triage

An AI layer reviews engine results to drop findings that are not actually exploitable, reducing false alarms.

AI-written fix prompts

For each actionable finding the product writes a fix prompt rewritten for the LLM platform that built the app (supports 14 LLM platforms).

Score and grade

Returns a numeric score out of 100 with a letter grade and a breakdown between code and dependencies.

Findings in plain English

Each vulnerability or leak is explained in plain English with location and impact; leaked keys are tested so you know which to rotate first.

Fix-rescan workflow

Paste the provided fix prompt back into the originating platform, rescan, and the grade updates to reflect remediation.

Live badge

Earn a badge (C and up) that reads the live grade every time a README or landing page loads, preventing stale or faked badges.

Security and privacy controls

Read-only GitHub sign-in, isolated ephemeral scan jobs, scan data wiped after scans, secrets never shown in full, and export/erase controls in Settings.

Repository ledger

A consolidated view across scanned repos with scores, trends (fixed vs new), and findings split by type.

Use Cases

Pre-release security checks

Developers can point Sentrint at the repo that backs their app to find leaked keys, open databases, and insecure admin pages before shipping.

Remediation with LLM workflows

When apps are built with an LLM platform, Sentrint provides a fix prompt rewritten specifically for that platform so fixes can be applied within the same workflow.

Continuous security monitoring for repos

Teams can maintain a ledger of repo grades and trends to track new and fixed issues across scans.

Integrations

GitHub (sign-in and repo access)

Uses GitHub to sign you in with read-only access and to clone the selected repository for scanning.

LLM platforms (14 supported)

Generates fix prompts rewritten for the LLM that built the app; explicitly mentions Claude, Gemini, Cursor, ChatGPT and Lovable among the supported platforms.

README/landing page badge

Embeddable live badge (Markdown and HTML) that displays the current grade and cannot be faked.

Benefits

Reduces noise by using AI to remove non-exploitable findings so teams focus on real issues.
Provides actionable, platform-specific fix prompts to speed remediation.
Visual grading and a live badge make security posture easy to communicate and verify.
Preserves privacy by running read-only, ephemeral scans and never printing leaked secrets in full.
Helps prioritize response by testing leaked keys and ranking findings by exploitability and severity.

Limitations

Sentrint does not rotate leaked keys for you; the product notes rotating a leaked key is the user's responsibility and that AI cannot perform that action.
You must own or have explicit permission to scan a repository; scans are limited to repos you point Sentrint at.

Frequently Asked Questions

No verified FAQs are available.

Getting Started

  1. 1 Sign in with GitHub (read-only access).
  2. 2 Point Sentrint at the repository you own or have explicit permission to scan.
  3. 3 Run a scan and review the grade, findings in plain English, and the AI-generated fix prompt.
  4. 4 Paste the fix prompt into the LLM platform that generated your app or apply the recommended changes, then rescan to verify the grade improves.
