LoupeKit
LoupeKit is a desktop browser extension that adds a floating panel over the current tab to read the page in front of you and surface a wide range of tooling: an inspector, extractors, stack detection, SEO and accessibility readers, visual overlays, diagnostics and a Vibe score that estimates how much of a page reads as AI-generated. It runs locally for most features (inspector, extractors, stack detection and many diagnostics) while a small subset of readings — audits, server probes, advisories and some field data — are performed by the service and are metered. LoupeKit is aimed at developers, designers, accessibility and SEO reviewers, and consultants who need to inspect sites (including staging and localhost), generate client-ready reports, and track baseline changes across visits.

Floating panel with 70 tools and diagnostics
A draggable panel that contains seventy tools and diagnostics across multiple surfaces so you can inspect and run diagnostics without docking DevTools.
Vibe score (AI-generated content detection)
A Vibe audit computes a score that estimates how much of a page reads as generated using 66 heuristics across categories like markup, CSS, runtime, copy and accessibility.
Inspector and visual tooling
Inspect box model, contrast, focus path, z-index, overlays and modify elements on-page with reversible changes.
Stack and technology detection with evidence
Detects the technologies a page is built with and provides the selector, URL or header that matched along with published-version advisories.
Audits & reports (metered)
Server-run audits produce findings, full rule breakdowns, evidence packs and client-ready reports hosted at links with expiry; audits are the only metered requests.
Privacy-first permissions model
Installs with four core permissions (activeTab, storage, scripting, contextMenus), no host_permissions by default, no analytics, and stores a local device id rather than an account.
Cross-browser builds
Two shipped builds cover Firefox and Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera, Arc, Vivaldi, Chromium, Opera GX).
Pricing
Free to read forever: inspector, extractors, stack detection, SEO and accessibility readers and most in-browser tools; includes three free audits that consume server requests.
Free
€0- Inspector, extractors and readers
- Stack detection with evidence
- Most tools and diagnostics that run on the document in your browser
- Three free audits (metered)
Monthly (Pro)
€6.99 per month- Unlimited or additional audits (removes the three-audit free limit)
- Client-ready reports and exportable evidence packs
- Baselines, advisories and other Pro readings that require server requests
Lifetime (launch price)
€74.99 one-time (note: lifetime price shown rising to €119.99)- Same Pro feature set as the monthly plan with a single payment
Use Cases
Front-end debugging and design inspection
Use the inspector, overlays, box-model and CSS tools to find layout issues, z-index problems, overflow and rendering differences without leaving the page.
Accessibility reviews and WCAG evidence
Run accessibility readers and audits, export an accessibility readout or evidence pack for procurement and VPAT work (PRO feature).
Detecting AI-generated pages and refactoring
Run Vibe audits to see which parts of a page exhibit signals of generation and receive refactor suggestions tied to each finding.
Client reports and deliverables
Generate branded client-ready reports and timed evidence links that can be sent instead of screenshots (PRO feature).
Technology and vulnerability reconnaissance
Detect the page's stack, versions and associated advisories or CVEs to support security reviews.
Testing staging, localhost and authenticated pages
Reads the active tab on click, so it works on localhost, staging and pages behind logins without whitelists.
